Another exciting “electronic” year is drawing to a close. It could eventually go down in history as the “year of artificial intelligence (AI).” For one simple reason: AI has entered the mainstream. At least as far as our everyday lives are concerned. A new survey conducted by the trade association Bitkom found that nearly 75 percent of people living in Germany are already using AI-based online translations, language assistants or individual recommendations available on online platforms. Companies have much catching-up to do in this area.
At electronica 2018 that will be held from November 13 – 16 in Munich, visitors will see just how much the impact of artificial intelligence has had on the business environment. The world’s leading trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications will devote a significant amount of space to the next quantum leap in technology.
